Dr. Rajender Parkash receives College's Gold-Headed Cane Award for 2012

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Dr. Rajender Parkash of Halifax has received its 2012 Gold-Headed Cane Award, which recognizes outstanding professionalism in the practice of medicine. 

Dr. Parkash practices internal medicine at the Capital District Health Authority. Before moving to Halifax in 2008, he practiced medicine in Yarmouth for 36 years, where his interests included diabetes, cardiovascular disease and renal disease. While in Yarmouth he also took a major role in the intensive care unit and stroke project.

A devoted patient advocate and professional role model, Dr. Parkash is widely respected for his exceptional selflessness and dedication to patients.
