College suspends license of Dr. Jacek Maria Wesolkowski

May 12, 2000 -- As a result of a complaint by the Registrar and pursuant to section 54 of the Medical Act , the license to practice medicine of Dr. Jacek Maria Wesolkowski, Psychiatrist, of Sydney, Nova Scotia, has been suspended on a temporary basis pending final resolution of a complaint which has been referred to a Hearing Committee. The suspension takes effect on Friday, May 12, 2000, and will continue until further notice. The complaint relates to non-compliance with a Settlement Agreement and Hearing Committee Decision dated September 1, 1999.
